Our Mission
Our mission is to help youth and teenage athletes bridge the gap between junior sport and higher-level performance.
We believe young athletes need more than a training plan. They need coaching, education, consistency and standards. They need to understand why they are training, how to train properly and what habits will support their progress over time.
Proficio Sports Performance gives athletes a clear pathway to improve speed, agility, strength, confidence and preparation for the next level.
Proficio Sports Performance was built for young athletes who want more than random workouts.
We coach youth and teenage athletes to become faster, stronger, more confident and better prepared for the demands of sport. Our focus is not just on training harder. It is on training with structure, purpose and long-term direction.
Too many young athletes are told to “work harder” without being taught how to move properly, sprint efficiently, build strength safely or recover well. Proficio exists to change that.
Our coaching system combines speed development, agility training, strength and conditioning, warm-up education, recovery habits and performance nutrition guidance to help athletes build the foundations required for long-term athletic development.
Whether an athlete plays AFL, competes in athletics, or participates in field and court sports, the goal is the same: develop better movers, stronger bodies and more disciplined training habits.
Most Young Athletes Are Training Hard — But Not Always Training With Direction
Many young athletes are motivated. They want to get faster, stronger, fitter and more confident. But too often, their training is random, inconsistent or not matched to the physical demands of their sport.
They might do fitness one week, gym work the next, a few speed drills after training, or copy exercises they see online but without a clear system, progress becomes harder to measure and harder to sustain.
The result is athletes who are working hard, but not always developing the speed, strength, movement quality and habits they need to take the next step.
THE PROBLEM
Random Workouts
Many young athletes train hard, but their sessions are often disconnected. Speed, strength, fitness and recovery are treated as separate pieces instead of one complete development system.
How Profico Trains
Proficio replaces random sessions with a structured training pathway. Each program is built with clear weekly progressions across speed, agility, warm-ups and strength development, so athletes know exactly what they are doing and why they are doing it. Instead of guessing, athletes follow a planned system designed to build consistent improvement over time.
THE PROBLEM
Poor Movement Foundations
Athletes are often pushed to go faster or harder before they have learned how to move well.
How Proficio Trains
Proficio teaches athletes how to move better before simply asking them to work harder. Through warm-ups, running drills, sprint mechanics and change-of-direction work, athletes build the movement foundations needed to support long-term performance.
THE PROBLEM
Speed Is Misunderstood
Running more is not the same as developing speed. True speed training needs intent, quality, recovery, sprint mechanics and progressive exposure to high-speed movement.
How Proficio Trains
Proficio develops speed properly by focusing on sprint mechanics, acceleration, intent and recovery between efforts. Athletes learn that speed training is not just more running it is a skill that must be coached, practised and progressed.
THE PROBLEM
No Strength Development Pathway
Young athletes need age-appropriate strength training that builds control, coordination, confidence and physical capacity. The goal is not to chase heavy weights early. The goal is to build strong foundations that support performance.
How Profico Train
Proficio gives athletes a progressive strength pathway based on their training level and available equipment. Proficio programs include either bodyweight or equipment-based strength options, allowing athletes to build control, coordination, strength and confidence safely over time. The focus is not on rushing heavy loads, but on building strength that supports speed, movement and sport performance
THE PROBLEM
Recovery Is Overlooked
Performance is not built only during training. Sleep, nutrition, recovery and consistency play a major role in how well young athletes adapt, feel and perform.
How Profico Trains
Proficio treats recovery as part of the training system, not an afterthought. Athletes are educated on the role of sleep, nutrition, warm-ups, cooldowns and consistent habits in supporting adaptation and performance. With nutrition guidance included, athletes and parents can better understand how fuelling, recovery and training all connect.
THE PROBLEM
Parents Want to Help But Lack a Clear Roadmap
Many parents want to help their child improve, but it can be difficult to know what type of training is appropriate, what matters most, and how to avoid wasting time on generic programs.
How Profico Train
Proficio gives athletes and parents a clear pathway through Bridge, Core and Premium program options. This allows athletes to start with the right level of support and progress toward more complete coaching as their needs develop.
THE PROBLEM
Sports Nutrition Is Often Underestimated
Young athletes often train hard but do not fuel their bodies properly. Skipping meals, under-eating around training, poor hydration and inconsistent recovery nutrition can limit energy, adaptation, concentration and performance.
How Profico Trains
Proficio helps athletes and parents understand how nutrition supports training, recovery and performance. Through practical guidance around fuelling, hydration and recovery habits, athletes learn how to support their body so they can train harder, recover better and perform with more consistency.

A Coaching System, Not Just an Online Program
Many online training programs are built around generic workouts, exercise libraries and one-size-fits-all sessions.
Proficio is different.
We are built specifically for youth and teenage athletes who need more than intensity. They need structure, coaching, education and progression.
Our programs combine speed development, agility training, strength foundations, warm-up education, recovery habits and sports nutrition guidance into one clear development pathway.
Every session has a purpose. Every drill connects to the bigger picture. Every athlete is encouraged to train with intent, not just effort.
Speed Is Coached Properly
A lot of programs treat speed training like conditioning.
Proficio separates true speed development from general fitness. Athletes learn acceleration mechanics, sprint posture, arm action, ground contact, intent and proper recovery between efforts. The goal is to help athletes become faster by improving how they move, not just by making them run more.
Strength Has A Clear Pathway
Many young athletes either avoid strength training or jump into random gym work too early.
Proficio gives athletes a progressive strength pathway based on their training level and available equipment. Athletes can build strength using bodyweight or equipment-based programs, with the focus on control, coordination, confidence and safe progression.
Education Is Built Into The Program
Proficio does not just tell athletes what to do.
We teach athletes why each part of training matters. Athletes learn the value of warm-ups, sprint mechanics, agility work, strength training, recovery, nutrition and consistency. This helps them become more independent, more disciplined and more aware of how to prepare properly.
A Clear Program Pathway
Most online programs give athletes one option.
Proficio gives athletes and parents a clear pathway through three program levels:
Speed and agility foundations
Speed, agility and strength development
Personalised coaching support with check-ins
This allows athletes to start at the right level and progress as their needs develop.
Coach Led Standards
Proficio is led by a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach and accredited Athletics Coach with experience across athletics and AFL development.
That matters because young athletes need coaching standards, not just exercise selection. The program is built from practical coaching experience, not just online fitness trends.
Performance Nutrition Is Included
Training alone is not enough.
Young athletes also need to understand how food, hydration and recovery support performance. Proficio includes practical sports nutrition guidance to help athletes and parents build better fuelling habits around training, competition and recovery.
Focused Long Term Development
Proficio does not sell quick fixes.
The goal is to build athletes who move better, train smarter, recover properly and develop the discipline needed for higher-level sport. We focus on habits that compound over time, not short-term hype.
Our team
At Proficio Sports Performance, our team is built around one goal: helping young athletes train, recover and perform with greater purpose.
